Soul of the City MTL is a non-profit music festival dedicated to celebrating and championing Montreal’s vibrant R&B and soul community.
We create spaces for emerging and established artists to share their music, connect with new audiences, and push the sounds of soul and R&B in new directions.
By bringing together artists, musicians, audiences, and independent venues across the city, we aim to strengthen Montreal’s music community and shine a light on the incredible talent growing here.
From the sounds that shaped generations to the artists creating what comes next, Soul of the City is a celebration of where soul music has been, where it is now, and where it’s going.
Soul of the City doesn't disappear when the festival ends.
